Job Description
Job Responsibilities
1.Responsible for the process research and optimization of blowout preventer rubber components (such as ram packers, packing elements, sealing rings, etc.), based on the characteristics of polymer materials and the core performance requirements of blowout preventer rubber components such as high-pressure sealing, resistance to oil and gas corrosion, and resistance to high and low temperatures, design core process flows such as rubber mixing, vulcanization, and molding, develop detailed process parameters, output process documents, and organize implementation verification to ensure that the rubber components meet industry standards such as API Spec 16A.
2.Lead the technical control of the production process of blowout preventer rubber components, track the production progress in the workshop, monitor the performance of rubber compounds, molding accuracy, and the quality of vulcanized finished products in real time, and develop solutions based on polymer material theory for process issues that arise during production.
3.Participate in the selection and verification of specialized raw materials for blowout preventer rubber components. Conduct small-batch trial testing based on performance requirements, assist in optimizing the raw material procurement standards for the supply chain, and ensure that the raw materials meet the quality requirements for blowout preventer rubber components.
4.Establish a process quality traceability system for blowout preventer rubber components, analyze the correlation between process fluctuations and rubber component quality, formulate process optimization reports, promote process standardization, and reduce the risk of rubber component sealing caused by production fluctuations.
5.Participate in the R&D project for new rubber components of blowout preventers, provide suggestions from the perspective of process feasibility, assist the R&D team in completing product design transformation, carry out process trial production of new products, collect trial production data and optimize the process, and support the smooth mass production of new rubber components of blowout preventers.
6.Responsible for providing training on the process of blowout preventer rubber components to workshop technicians and operators.
7.Complete other tasks related to the process of blowout preventer rubber components assigned by the leader.
Job Requirements
1.Educational Background and Major: Master's degree or above; major in polymer materials and engineering (preference for rubber material direction, especially those with experience in the research and development of blowout preventer rubber parts and seals), with preference given to those with experience in rubber process research and development or manufacturing-related research projects.
2.Work Experience: No specific work experience is required, but candidates with at least 1 year of experience in process research and development, production technology, or quality control related to blowout preventer rubber components, high-pressure seals, or oil and gas equipment rubber products are preferred. Candidates who are familiar with the entire process of rubber mixing, vulcanization, and molding, and understand the working principle of blowout preventers are preferred.
3.Knowledge and skills:
(1)Proficient in the basic theory of polymer materials science, with a deep understanding of the molecular structure, crosslinking reaction principles, and mechanical properties of rubber materials (nitrile rubber, fluororubber, etc.) used in blowout preventer rubber components. Master the core technical points of rubber processes (mixing, vulcanization, molding), and able to independently solve process problems related to the sealing performance and medium resistance of rubber components;
(2)Familiar with the characteristics and testing methods of raw materials for blowout preventer rubber components, capable of independently conducting performance evaluations and process adaptability analyses of raw materials, ensuring that the raw materials meet the high-pressure sealing requirements of rubber components;
(3)Proficient in using rubber process simulation software or material performance analysis tools, with basic capabilities in process parameter calculation and optimization, and able to independently develop process plans for blowout preventer rubber components;
(4)Understand the industry standards for blowout preventers and the production quality management system for rubber products, possess good technical document writing skills, and be able to standardize the output of blowout preventer rubber parts process reports and work instructions.
4.Other requirements: Possess strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and be able to utilize professional knowledge to analyze and address complex technical issues in the production process of blowout preventer rubber components; work rigorously and meticulously, possess a strong sense of responsibility, excel at tracking the implementation effectiveness of processes and continuously optimizing them, and place great emphasis on the sealing safety of blowout preventer rubber components; exhibit excellent team collaboration and communication skills, and be capable of collaborating with departments such as research and development, production, and equipment to advance the process work related to blowout preventer rubber components.
Working Environment
The primary work locations are the rubber laboratory and the dedicated production workshop for blowout preventer rubber components. The work schedule primarily consists of regular day shifts, with occasional overtime required for trial production of blowout preventer rubber components and equipment debugging (such as pressure calibration of vulcanizing machines). There is no need for frequent business trips.
