FKQ Series BOP Control System:Pneumatic Controlled

Note:
Q: The FKQ series uses hose bundle to connect the driller ' s panel with the remote control panel,the driller operating element is pneumatic rotary valves, remote control panel uses cylinder to drive the 4-way 3-position valve,this series can choose pneumatic-manual or pneumatic motor driven pressure regulating valves.
DQ: The FKDQ series uses signal cableto connect the driller ' s panel with the remote control panel, the driller operating element is touch screen or electric button, remote control panel uses cylinder to drive the 4-way 3-position valve, with pneumatic motor driven pressure regulating valves.
D: The FKD series uses signal cableto connect the driller ' s panel with the remote control panel, the driller operating element is touch screen or electric button, remote control panel uses electromagnet to drive the 4-way 3-position valve, with electromotor driven pressure regulating valves.
If the customer want to order an API Spec. 16D control system, and you need to mark the API monogram on it, you need to obtain a form named “configuration and parameters of the bop stacks for order an API Spec. 16D control system (land and surface)” from Rongsheng sales department. After filling in the detailed technical parameters, the Rongsheng technical department will carry out the selection calculation.

All series can choose BOP heating units, to heating bop in extremely cold environment, enable the bop to function normally (the BOP should have heating function).
FKDQ & FKD series can choose wireless remote control function.Principle Description of BOP Control System
● The BOP control system is a special hydraulic equipment used to control the BOP and the hydraulic valve to close and open. For matching different types and specifications of the BOP stack and adapt to the requirements of different application environment, Rongsheng designed and manufactured various types of BOP control system with different structures and specifications.
● The remote control panel is equipped with two sets of independent pump groups. Electric pumps, pneumatic pumps or manual pumps with different flow rate can be provided. Rongsheng can offer the accumulator with China Standard, ASME or CE mark. FKQ and FKDQ series can be provided with pneumatic-manual or pneumatic motor driven pressure regulating valves, FKD series can be provided with electric-manual pressure regulating valve,to provide stable and reliable operating pressure for the bop.In FKD series,the 4-way 3-position valveis driven byelectromagnet, which adapt to lower ambient temperature,and has a faster operation response.
● The alarm device can be equipped according to customer ' s request. It monitors the accumulator pressure, air supply pressure and liquid level in the hydraulic oil reservoir. When the above parameters exceed the alarm limits, the audible and visual signal will appear immediately.
● The auxiliary Driller ' s panel can be equipped according to customer ' s request, which can monitor the remote control panel. FKD and FKDQ series can provided with wireless control panel, which can be used to remotely operate the BOP in a safe area in case of emergency, further improving the reliability of drilling construction.
● The system can be equipped with insulated building, air conditioner, electric heaters, tank heater, electric heating device for air hose bundle, heating device for BOP etc, to adapt to low temperature and other special field work environment.Specifications of Main Models

Key Points of BOP Control System Selection
To control BOP reliably and safely, oil & natuarl gas industry standards SY/T5053.2-2007 and API Spec. 16D should be followed when you choose and purchase a suitableproduct.Factors to be considered should at least be:
● Relationship between liquid volume required for closing BOP stacks and liquid volume available from the control system;
● Requirements of pump system;
● Whether it needs to meet the API 16D standards;
● Environmental adaptation;
● Special requirements on off-shore drilling platform.Options for controlled objects and accumulator available liquid volume The accumulator group shall be configured so that the remaining pressure is greater than the maximum control pressure required by the control object after closing all BOP and hydraulic valves.
Available volume from an accumulator group is recommended be 2 times greater than the required volume of closing BOP stacks.Requirements of pump system The main pumping unit shall be comprised of a minimum of two pump systems. The cumulative output capacity of the pump systems shall be sufficient to charge the main accumulator system from precharge pressure to the system RWP within 15 minutes. With the loss of one pump system or one power system, the remaining pump system(s) shall have the capacity to charge the main accumulator system from precharge pressure to the system RWP within30 minutes.
With the accumulators isolated from service and with one pump systems or one power system out of service, the remaining pump system(s) shall have the capacity to close one annular BOP and open choke valve(s) within 2 minutes.Whether it needs to meet the API 16D standards If the customer wants to order an API Spec. 16D control system, and mark the API monogram, the customer need to obtain a form named “configuration and parameters of the bop stacks for order an API Spec. 16D control system (land and surface)” from Rongsheng sales department. After filling in the detailed technical parameters, the Rongsheng technical department will carry out the selection calculation. Environmental Adaptation Conventional BOP control system is only suit for ambient temperature of -13℃~50℃. When the ambient temperature exceeds the above range, the protection room with thermal insulation and temperature adjustment functions should be selected:
a) The protection room with thermal insulation and heating is suitable for ambient temperature above -40℃.
b) The protection room with thermal insulation and air conditioner is suitable for ambient temperature below 60℃.
c) Hose bundle for remote control is suitable for -40℃~50℃, but dry compressed air must be used when the temperature is below 0℃. It is recommended to choose the electric hot air pipe cable when the temperature is below -13℃, so as to prevent the moisture in the compressed air from freezing and blocking the pipe cable, resulting in control failure.
d) FKD series control device is recommended for low temperature environment, this series control system uses electromagnet to drive the 4-way 3-position valve, no compressed air is used, so there is no problem of moisture freezing.Special requirements on off-shore drilling platform According to the standards of the petroleum and natural gas industry, the driller’s station for the blowout preventer control system on offshore drilling platforms shall be equipped with audible and visual alarm devices to indicate:
a) Accumulator pressure low alarm;
b) Low fuel tank level alarm;
c) Low air source pressure alarm;
d) Anti-corrosion and anti-tide requirements for marine applications, as well as backup power indication (FKDQ and FKD series)
