Tubing
The mechanical performance, testing methods, pipe inspection, the machining and inspection of thread for the tubing and coupling by our company are all carried out in compliance with API Spec 5CT / API Std 5B as well as industrial standard SY/T6194 in China. The tubing cover two major categories, namely NUE and external EUE. The products include sizes of 2-3/8", 2-7/8" and 3-1/2". In addition, we can manufacture a variety of anti-corrosion tubing such as the tubing with inner lining of glass reinforced plastics and the tubing with internal coatings.
Technical Description
▶ The nondestructive inspection is performed by four-function electromagnetic flaw detection equipments provided by ICO Corporation, U.S. Such equipment can be used to detect steel grade, transverse and longitudinal flaws, and wall thickness.▶ After the pipe is upset, it is processed by heat treatment device, which is controlled automatically by computers. After heat treatment, the pipe is to be detected by magnetic particle inspection device.
▶ The thread machining are carried out by advanced numerically-controlled machines in China.
▶ Thread inspection are carried out by a whole set of detection instruments provided by Allen company, U.S.
▶ The Hydrostatic pressure tests are controlled automatically and pressure tests are done for 100% pipes and the test results will be automatically recorded.
▶ In order to ensure satisfactory performance figures of the tubing and to avoid thread gluing, the level of thread parameters achieved by our company are all higher than API specification.
