Job Description
Job Responsibilities
1.Responsible for the mechanical design work throughout the entire lifecycle of blowout preventer (BOP) products, including demand analysis based on oil and gas extraction scenarios, conceptual design and structural optimization of the BOP body and core components (such as rams, packers, and hydraulic control system connectors), outputting detailed design drawings, and collaborating in compiling the product BOM table.
2.Lead the quality control of the blowout preventer product design process, ensuring that the design scheme complies with international oil and gas industry standards such as API Spec 16A, meets stringent working conditions requirements such as high-pressure sealing, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance, while also considering the feasibility of production processes and cost control objectives.
3.Before design, complete the review of relevant industry standards and customer technical requirements for blowout preventers, as well as the mechanical property calculation, process feasibility analysis, and standardization compliance verification of design drawings.
4.Coordinate the R&D, production, quality inspection, and supply chain teams to facilitate the implementation of the blowout preventer design scheme, address design issues arising from structure, materials, or assembly during prototype trial production and mass production, and ensure timely product delivery.
5.Responsible for the preparation, modification, organization, updating, and archiving of relevant materials for blowout preventer product design (such as 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, design calculations, technical specifications, failure analysis reports, etc.), assisting in completing product factory inspections, third-party certifications (such as ABS, DNV), and customer acceptance work.
6Track the development trends and market feedback of blowout preventer technology both domestically and internationally, participate in product iteration optimization, and propose mechanical structure improvement plans for existing products based on issues encountered in field applications.
7.Complete daily design management tasks for blowout preventer products (such as design version control, technical document borrowing management) and other tasks assigned by leaders.
Job Requirements
1.Educational Background and Major: Master's degree or above; major in mechanical engineering, mechanical design and manufacturing and automation, mechatronics engineering, petroleum and mining machinery, or related fields.
2.Work experience: No specific work experience is required. Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in the design of oil and gas equipment (such as blowout preventers, wellhead devices) or mechanical structure design are preferred. Candidates familiar with the working principles and industry standards of blowout preventers are preferred.
3.Knowledge and skills:
(1)Proficient in mechanical principles, material mechanics, fluid mechanics, and high-pressure sealing technology, with solid capabilities in structural design and strength verification of blowout preventers;
(2)Proficient in computer-aided design software such as SolidWorks (or UG, AutoCAD), capable of independently completing 3D modeling, engineering drawing, and assembly interference checking for blowout preventers, and proficient in using finite element analysis software such as ANSYS for structural mechanics simulation is preferred;
(3)Familiar with the manufacturing process of blowout preventers (such as forging, welding, heat treatment, and precision machining), and understand the matching design requirements between the hydraulic control system and the mechanical structure of the blowout preventer;
(4)Familiar with relevant standards for blowout preventers such as API Spec 16A and GB/T 22513, possess good English reading and writing skills, and be able to independently read international standard documents and technical materials.
4.Other requirements: Be upright and honest, possess a high sense of responsibility for the safety design of oil and gas equipment; excel in cross-departmental communication and collaboration, and be able to articulate design ideas and technical solutions clearly; work with a conscientious and responsible attitude, be rigorous and meticulous, possess strong problem analysis and solving abilities, and have a good team spirit.
Working Environment
Primarily responsible for researching, developing, and designing the office area for the company, with the need to regularly visit the production workshop to coordinate design implementation matters such as prototype testing and mass production assembly of blowout preventers. Occasionally visit oil and gas field sites to understand product application situations, with a relatively low frequency of business trips.
