Sinopec and China Offshore Engineering Leaders and Experts Visit Rongsheng Company' for On-Site Inspection

On October 16, a nine-member delegation, including Chen Tiancheng, Senior Well Control Expert of the Oilfield Exploration and Development Division of Sinopec Group, Liu Wangjun, Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd., and Tian Jinzhu, Deputy Department Manager of China Offshore Engineering Equipment Technology Development Co., Ltd., visited Rongsheng Company' for an on-site inspection. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on current cooperative projects and future directions for collaboration. Su Shangwen, Chairman, General Manager, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Rongsheng Company', together with Xu Hongqi, Executive Vice General Manager and Chief Engineer, Jiang Dongliang, Vice General Manager, and leaders from relevant departments, accompanied the visit.
The delegation listened to a briefing on Rongsheng Company'’s development history, main business, technological innovation, new products and technologies, and the progress of ongoing cooperative projects. Both sides focused their discussions on the progress of the 18 3/4”-20000psi ultra-high-temperature, high-pressure BOP stack and control system project undertaken by Rongsheng Company', including completed testing, product reliability, delivery, and field application. This project is a national key project led by China Offshore Engineering Equipment Technology Development Co., Ltd., with Rongsheng Company' responsible for design and manufacturing. During the development process, Rongsheng Company' adhered to technological innovation, successfully overcoming more than 20 key technical challenges. The company also placed quality management first, entrusting CCS to strictly supervise product design, manufacturing, and testing processes to ensure that every unit meets high standards and high quality requirements. The prototype was completed in July this year, and the next step will be factory testing and offshore trial verification.
The delegation also visited Rongsheng Company'’s Quality Inspection Department, Well Control Plant, Pump Plant, and Rubber Plant, where they inspected the testing laboratory, BOP production line, and rubber component production line. They expressed recognition of Rongsheng Company'’s efforts in product R&D, production capability, technological innovation, and R&D investment, and hoped that the company would continue to be driven by scientific and technological innovation, constantly improve product quality and service standards, and remain committed to providing customers with higher-quality and more efficient well-control products and solutions.
This on-site visit by leaders and experts from Sinopec and China Offshore Engineering not only strengthened communication and cooperation between the two sides, but also created new opportunities and challenges for the future development of Rongsheng Company'’s well-control products. Rongsheng Company' will take this visit as an opportunity to continue upholding the principles of technological innovation and quality first, continuously enhance its core competitiveness and market influence, and make new and greater contributions to promoting innovation and development in the petrochemical and offshore engineering fields.
