Rongsheng Company Conducts Well Control Equipment Technical Exchange with Chuanqing Drilling

On October 14, Su Shangwen, Chairman and General Manager of Rongsheng Company, led a delegation to Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chuanqing Drilling) to conduct a technical exchange on well control equipment with Wu Xianzhu, Chief Expert for PetroChina Well Control Emergency Rescue and Deputy General Manager of Chuanqing Drilling, and Tan Bin, Chief Engineer of Chuanqing Drilling. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the promotion and application of new products and technologies, as well as future cooperation.
At the exchange meeting, Su Shangwen, Chairman and General Manager of Rongsheng Company, expressed his gratitude to Chuanqing Drilling for its long-standing support and recognition of Rongsheng Company. He gave a detailed introduction to Rongsheng Company's new products and technologies, including ultra-high-pressure BOPs, boltless side-door BOPs, new hydraulic locking mechanisms, super shear rams, high-temperature packing elements, quick connection flanges, and digital BOP systems. He also discussed with the participants such topics as the trial use of high-temperature sealing elements in ultra-deep and high-temperature wells in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, the conditions and scope for trial application of variable-bore rams, and the trial use of the new hydraulic locking mechanism for ram BOPs.
Wu Xianzhu, Deputy General Manager of Chuanqing Drilling, and Tan Bin, Chief Engineer, welcomed the Rongsheng Company delegation and highly praised the reliability of Rongsheng products. They expressed appreciation for the high-quality products and services that Rongsheng Company has long provided in the field of well control equipment, especially in meeting urgent production needs and equipment rental requirements. They also put forward further expectations in areas such as the promotion and application of advanced products, strengthening technical exchange and cooperation, deepening joint research on key technical challenges, and continuously improving product performance. They stated that Chuanqing Drilling would further strengthen cooperation with Rongsheng Company in the future and carry out joint research based on the characteristics of oil and gas fields in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, so as to further enhance the safety and reliability of oil and gas development through the upgrading of BOP equipment.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged their respective issues and suggestions, reached consensus on the promotion and application of new products and technologies, and agreed to work together to advance the development and application of domestically produced well control equipment, contributing to the safeguarding of national energy security.
