Rongsheng Company Chairman and General Manager Su Shangwen Invited to Attend the API Technical Seminar on Well Control Equipment Standards

On October 28, Su Shangwen, Chairman and General Manager of Rongsheng Company, was invited to attend the API Technical Seminar on Well Control Equipment Standards held in Beijing. Three chairmen of the API Subcommittee 16 from Chevron, BP, and NOV, together with the chairmen and vice chairmen of its subordinate standards working groups, attended the seminar.
At the meeting, API experts and Chinese experts delivered a series of excellent presentations on the API 16 series well control equipment standards. Su Shangwen, Chairman and General Manager of the company, together with two Rongsheng well control technical experts, conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with API experts and Chinese experts on the API 16 series well control equipment standards.
This event was jointly organized by API and the Science and Technology Management Department of China National Petroleum Corporation, and hosted by the Petroleum Industry Standardization Research Institute. Relevant leaders from API Headquarters, the API Beijing Representative Office, the CNPC Science and Technology Management Department, and the Standardization Institute attended the meeting. A total of 37 expert representatives from multiple organizations, including the API Well Control Equipment Standards Subcommittee, professional subsidiaries of CNPC, engineering and technical service enterprises, oil and gas field enterprises, well control equipment manufacturers, and related research institutes, participated in the seminar.
