Renqiu Municipal Party Secretary Zhang Xinhua Visits Rongsheng Company for Research

Secretary Zhang Xinhua, together with leaders of relevant functional departments of the municipal government, came to the production site of the company's flagship product, the BOP, to learn about the company's production and operating situation and product market conditions since the outbreak of the pandemic this year. On September 4, Zhang Xinhua, Secretary of the Renqiu Municipal Party Committee, led leaders from relevant functional departments of the municipal government to Rongsheng Company for research. Company leaders gave a brief report to the municipal leaders. Rongsheng Company is currently a globally leading manufacturer of onshore BOPs by production and sales volume and has consistently held a dominant position in China's well control equipment manufacturing industry. In recent years, the company has seized the opportunities created by the state's increased efforts in oil and gas exploration and development, accelerated the pace of technological innovation and market expansion, and, drawing on its years of accumulated experience and advantages in the design, R&D, and manufacturing of BOP series products, has successively undertaken projects under the National 863 Program and national major special projects. The company successfully developed China's first subsea capping stack. As a national key R&D program project, it has achieved major progress in technical research, equipment development, inspection and certification, sea-trial preparation, and industrialization, providing strong equipment support for China's offshore energy security. In the near future, Rongsheng Company will focus on building a high-level innovation platform and a quality inspection and testing platform, laying a more solid foundation for further improving testing capability and product quality. The company is a state-recognized high-tech enterprise of Hebei Province, a Hebei-recognized enterprise technology center, and the Hebei Well Control and Wellhead Equipment Technology Innovation Center. It has a national key engineering laboratory and a provincial-level testing laboratory, and in 2019 it was named one of the Top 100 Leading Strategic Emerging Industry Enterprises in Hebei Province. As a true major taxpayer in the local area, Rongsheng Company has strongly driven the growth and expansion of a number of small and medium-sized enterprises and has made positive contributions to local economic development.
Secretary Zhang Xinhua expressed appreciation for Rongsheng Company's effective response to the adverse impact brought by the pandemic and for the good business performance it achieved through unremitting efforts. He fully affirmed the company's continued commitment to building a well-known industry brand, highly praised its development direction of "innovation-driven growth, advancing both onshore and offshore, and moving toward high-end offshore products," and thanked the company for its contributions to promoting local economic development. During the visit, Secretary Zhang also put forward constructive suggestions on serving and supporting high-quality enterprises in response to the conflicts and difficulties encountered in Rongsheng Company's growth and expansion, and required the functional departments of the municipal government to strengthen communication and exchanges with the company and provide Rongsheng Company with an even better environment for business operation and development.
