Subsea Christmas Tree Hydraulic Connector
The subsea Christmas tree hydraulic connector is a key piece of equipment for subsea Christmas trees, designed in accordance with API Spec 17D and other relevant standards. It achieves sealing through metal steel rings. It is mainly applied to the connection and disconnection of special interface positions between the subsea Christmas tree and the subsea wellhead. Locking, unlocking, and secondary unlocking are all hydraulically actuated for convenient and efficient operation. It also features an auxiliary mechanical unlocking function.
Structural Features
▶ Hydraulically actuated for convenient and efficient operation;▶ The locking segments achieve nearly 360° full circumferential contact with the wellhead or mandrel;
▶ Flat-to-flat annular contact is adopted between the piston and the locking segments to ensure uniform stress distribution;
▶ Equipped with a self-locking capability to prevent accidental release caused by hydraulic system failure, thereby avoiding personal injury and environmental pollution;
▶ Equipped with dual hydraulic unlocking functions for safety and reliability; in the event of hydraulic system failure, a mechanical unlocking function is also available.
