CPEIA President Liu Hongbin and His Delegation Visit Rongsheng Company for Research and Inspection

(Staff correspondent: Li Liye) On October 12, Liu Hongbin, President of the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CPEIA), together with Zhang Yubao, Executive Vice President, Zhang Guanjun, Secretary General, and other association leaders, visited Rongsheng Company for research and inspection. Su Shangwen, Chairman and General Manager of Rongsheng Company, Xu Hongqi, Executive Vice General Manager and Chief Engineer, and Zhao Yongjun, Vice General Manager, accompanied the visit throughout.
During the visit, President Liu Hongbin and his delegation toured Rongsheng Company's Well Control Plant and Rubber Plant, where they learned in detail about the production of BOP products and rubber products. They highly praised the company's capabilities in R&D, design, and manufacturing. At the subsequent symposium, Su Shangwen, Chairman and General Manager of Rongsheng Company, on behalf of the company's leadership team, extended a warm welcome to President Liu and his delegation, and expressed sincere gratitude to CPEIA for actively leveraging its industry influence and attaching importance to the protection of distinctive brands. He also briefed the delegation on the company's current production and operations, technological innovation, and market sales. Mr. Su stated that since its restructuring, the company has achieved strong business results, and its operating performance has been widely recognized by all sectors of society. Since the beginning of this year, all major business indicators have remained at a relatively strong level compared with the same period in previous years. The company places great importance on scientific and technological innovation. Over the past three years, it has invested RMB 136 million in R&D, undertaken six national major scientific and technological projects related to deepwater well control products from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and other authorities, and has served as either the lead drafter or a participating drafter of 24 national and industry standards. Relying on advanced technology and stable quality, the company's flagship product, the BOP, holds a 70% market share across the three major domestic markets of CNPC, Sinopec, and CNOOC. Its products are exported to more than 50 countries worldwide, with cumulative sales reaching 25,000 units.
In his remarks, President Liu thanked Rongsheng Company for its long-standing full support for the association's work. He fully affirmed the company's outstanding achievements in promoting technological innovation and application, establishing and improving a complete industrial chain, creating unique and high-quality products, consolidating its leading position in the domestic top-tier market, and actively expanding into the international high-end market. President Liu clearly stated that CPEIA would further strengthen its efforts in industry training, consulting, standardization system development, and organizing participation in exhibitions, so as to support the high-quality development of member enterprises and the industry as a whole. At the same time, he expressed the hope that Rongsheng Company would continue to strengthen technological innovation, build a systematic product line centered on BOPs, actively advance lean management, increase the share of service in the market, highlight the integrated model of manufacturing plus service, cultivate a younger management team, further enhance corporate vitality, and achieve high-quality development.
At the symposium, the two sides also exchanged views and held discussions on the problems facing enterprise development and possible solutions. Relevant personnel from the company's Marketing Department, Technology Development Department, and Product R&D Center also participated in the investigation and exchange.
