China Xiong’an Group Visits Rongsheng Again for Exchange on 6S Management

On May 10, a delegation of more than ten people led by Wei Panming, Deputy General Manager of the Ecological Construction Company of China Xiong'an Group, visited Rongsheng Machinery Manufacture Ltd. Of Huabei Oilfield, Hebei for on-site visits and discussion sessions to learn about its specific practices, experience, and achievements in 6S management. This was the second time that Xiong'an Group had come to Rongsheng Company to exchange views and learn from its 6S management experience. Zhao Yongjun, Vice General Manager of Rongsheng Company, Liao Weiheng, Vice General Manager, and relevant personnel from the Safety and Environmental Protection Department received the delegation and accompanied the visit.
The Xiong'an Group delegation successively visited the production lines of Rongsheng Company's Well Control Plant, Pump Plant, and Kaiyuan Plant, which were all in full production, and listened to introductions on the relevant management practices. After seeing the well-maintained production and living facilities in the plant area, the complete and clearly visible safety signs in the workshops, the clear and well-designed fixed-location management and area markings, the neat and orderly placement of materials and workpieces, the clean and well-maintained production equipment with clearly identified status, the well-executed greening and beautification of the plant area, and the orderly and efficient working atmosphere of employees, the visiting delegation spoke highly of Rongsheng Company's 6S management.
At the 6S management seminar, Zhao Yongjun, Vice General Manager of Rongsheng Company, gave a detailed introduction to the background of the company's adoption of the 6S site management model, its implementation process, and the experience and achievements it has gained through years of 6S. Since introducing the 6S site management model in 2004, Rongsheng Company has, through years of exploration and practice, formed a distinctive site management philosophy and related management standards featuring "high quality, high efficiency, low consumption, balanced operations, safe production, and civilized production." In recent years in particular, Rongsheng Company has focused on establishing a long-term mechanism for 6S site management. In combination with management system certification, the upgrading of work safety standardization, the dual-control system, safety culture, and emergency management system development, the company has continuously integrated management resources, improved management systems, and further raised its 6S management level. At present, Rongsheng Company has passed the Hebei Province Class II Certification for Safety and Quality Standardization Enterprises and has been recognized in Hebei Province as both a demonstration enterprise for safety culture development and a garden-style unit.
The Ecological Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. of China Xiong'an Group, which came to Rongsheng once again to learn from its experience, is responsible for the development investment, operation management, technical consulting, and information consulting services related to environmental engineering, ecological engineering, water conservancy engineering, agriculture, forestry, information technology services, and cultural tourism in the Xiong'an New Area. It also undertakes project construction and operation tasks in multiple fields, including flood control and water conservancy, landscaping, municipal water supply and drainage, and sanitation in the Xiong'an New Area. Building Xiong'an into a new city where "blue and green are interwoven, and the city and water are integrated" is a national undertaking of lasting significance. Carrying out Xiong'an's development at a high starting point and to high standards is a major and demanding task, making it especially necessary to learn from advanced management models and experience.
Members of the Xiong'an Group delegation said that Rongsheng Company's advanced practices and experience in 6S site management are highly worthy of study, and that this visit had been very rewarding, providing useful reference for promoting and strengthening the "Three Practicalities and Three Excellence" in project construction and operation management in the Xiong'an New Area.
