Cangzhou Mayor Mei Shitong Visits Rongsheng Company for Research and Inspection

On the morning of April 26, Cangzhou Mayor Mei Shitong visited Rongsheng Machinery Manufacture Ltd. Of Huabei Oilfield, Hebei for research and inspection. Wang Tong, Secretary General of the Cangzhou Municipal Government, Liu Qiang, Deputy Secretary General of the Cangzhou Municipal Government, Zhang Xinhua, Vice Chairman of the Cangzhou Municipal Committee of the CPPCC and Secretary of the Renqiu Municipal Party Committee, Li Chun, Mayor of Renqiu, and other leaders accompanied the visit.
Mayor Mei and his delegation successively visited the development site of the National 863 Program project "3,000-meter deepwater BOP" and its control system undertaken by Rongsheng Company, the production site of the national key R&D program project "subsea capping stack", and the largest onshore BOP production line in China. Su Shangwen, Chairman and General Manager of the company, reported on the company's ability in recent years to maintain strong innovation achievements and business performance despite severe challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and low oil prices. Mayor Mei spoke highly of the development of Rongsheng Company'. He said that Rongsheng Company' has actively responded to various risks and challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, vigorously leveraged its brand and innovation strengths, and worked hard to develop offshore well control equipment products that fill domestic gaps, making positive contributions to China's safe offshore oil and gas development and local economic development. He emphasized that in its future development, Rongsheng Company should accelerate the pace of scientific and technological innovation and transformation and upgrading, further tap its development potential, and enhance its core competitiveness. He also stressed that the company should firmly establish the concept of safe development, implement the primary responsibility for production safety, establish and improve all rules and regulations, and ensure that production safety work is carried out strictly, thoroughly, and effectively, so as to better fulfill its economic and social responsibilities and steadily advance high-quality corporate development.
