Huabei Oilfield Company Party Secretary Xiu Jingtao Visits Rongsheng Company for Research and Exchange

On January 19, the day before the Laba Festival, Xiu Jingtao, Executive Director and Party Secretary of Huabei Oilfield Company, visited Rongsheng Company for research and exchange, held in-depth discussions with the members of the company's Party and administrative leadership team, and extended Spring Festival greetings.
Su Shangwen, Chairman and General Manager of the company, on behalf of Rongsheng Company, extended a warm welcome to Secretary Xiu and his delegation, and expressed sincere gratitude for the long-term help and support provided by Huabei Oilfield Company. Mr. Su reported on the company's basic situation, its operating achievements in recent years, and its future development direction. Since its restructuring, Rongsheng Company has adhered to scientific and technological innovation and continuously built its own independent brand. It is currently a globally leading manufacturer of onshore BOPs by production and sales volume, and has consistently maintained a dominant position in China's well control equipment manufacturing industry. In recent years, following the strategic approach of advancing both onshore and offshore, the company has entered the field of offshore deepwater well control equipment R&D, successively undertaken six national scientific research projects in the field of offshore deepwater well control equipment, including projects under the National 863 Program, achieved breakthroughs in a series of key technologies, and become the first domestic manufacturer of deepwater well control equipment.
Li Dong, Party Secretary of the company, reported on the building of the company's leadership team. He introduced how, in recent years, the company's leadership team has implemented the Party-building arrangements of Huabei Oilfield Company, combined them with the actual conditions of a restructured enterprise, worked in unity, supported one another, and taken responsibility courageously. He also introduced the company's efforts in actively overcoming various difficulties during the process of reform, development, and ideological work, effectively promoting high-quality enterprise development, and ensuring the stability of the company's workforce.
Secretary Xiu Jingtao expressed appreciation for Rongsheng Company's achievements in recent years in promoting economic development, undertaking social responsibilities, and supporting the reform and development of the oilfield. He emphasized that in 2021, Rongsheng Company should seize opportunities, further emancipate the mind, give full play to its brand and scientific R&D strengths, expand the application fields of high-tech products, and continuously enhance its endogenous growth momentum. Huabei Oilfield Company will continue to increase its support for Rongsheng Company. In the internal oilfield market, especially in related-party transactions, it will as always provide strong support, giving priority consideration and priority support under the same conditions. In expanding into external markets, Rongsheng Company should make good use of the policy dividends released by reform measures, strive to improve the efficiency and quality of external market development, and lay a foundation for expanding its business scale. Relevant departments and units of Huabei Oilfield Company should strengthen communication and coordination with Rongsheng Company, proactively connect with local governments, and make every effort to advance the work of relocating from the former site into the industrial park. Regarding epidemic prevention and control, Secretary Xiu Jingtao stressed that although the overall epidemic situation is currently improving, there are still many uncertainties, and there must be absolutely no relaxation or complacency. The company must remain prudent and vigilant, without any wishful thinking, fully implement normalized epidemic prevention and control measures, continue to build and improve the joint prevention and control mechanism, and strive to ensure that both production and epidemic prevention are carried out effectively.
