Rongsheng’s High-Power Lightweight High-Pressure Drilling Pump Cuts Weight by Nearly 20%
Recently, the RS-QF2200 lightweight high-pressure drilling pump independently developed by Rongsheng Machinery Manufacture Ltd. Of Huabei Oilfield, Hebei (hereinafter referred to as Rongsheng Company') has successively received inquiries from oil industry customers in Russia, the United States, and other countries. Customers have shown strong interest in this high-power lightweight high-pressure mud pump, whose weight is 18.5% lower than that of comparable products.

According to a report by CCTV.com on August 11, China’s first independently developed subsea capping stack successfully completed its sea trial in the deepwater area off Hainan. The equipment was led by CNOOC and specifically developed by Hebei Huabei Petroleum Rongsheng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Rongsheng Company'). It fills a technological gap in China’s development of deepwater oil and gas emergency equipment, breaks the long-standing foreign monopoly, and marks China’s offshore oil equipment manufacturing capability as having entered the international advanced ranks.

On March 16, the first subsea capping stack independently developed by Rongsheng Company' successfully completed the final test before offshore deployment at Haikou Port, Hainan, and passed the review of the deepwater trial operation program and sea-trial risks conducted by an expert panel composed of professor-level senior engineers from CNOOC China Limited, CNOOC Research Institute, CNPC Energy Economics Research Institute, and other organizations.
