On October 14, Su Shangwen, Chairman and General Manager of Rongsheng Company', led a delegation to Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chuanqing Drilling) to conduct a technical exchange on well control equipment with Wu Xianzhu, Chief Expert for PetroChina Well Control Emergency Rescue and Deputy General Manager of Chuanqing Drilling, and Tan Bin, Chief Engineer of Chuanqing Drilling. Rongsheng Company' Successfully Develops the World’s First New Intelligent Drill String Detector
On March 10, the RS-BOPTC-3570-FL drill string detector, jointly developed by Rongsheng Company' and Xinjiang Oilfield Drilling Company of Xibu Drilling, successfully completed a high-intensity simulation test at the Well Control Center of Xinjiang Oilfield Drilling Company of Xibu Drilling. The device successfully sheared the drill pipe, detected the drill string status, and completed full shut-in pressure holding. As the first real-time drill string detection device successfully applied in the industry, it can visually and accurately determine the position and status of the drill string inside the BOP stack through intelligent data recognition, thereby improving the safety and controllability of well control operations. Leaders and experts from Xibu Drilling and Xinjiang Oilfield Drilling Company observed the entire test process on site and highly praised Rongsheng Company'’s intelligent well control equipment.

Rongsheng Company' Successfully Launches Its Self-Developed “Super Shear Ram”
On September 24, at Rongsheng Company'’s well control testing site, with a command from the test director, a ZT NC46-65 6 1/2" drill collar with a wall thickness of 47 mm was cleanly sheared as the hydraulic pressure reached 28 MPa. The fracture surface of the drill collar was neat and even, and the cutting edge of the shear ram showed no damage. According to reports, the test used the “Super Shear Ram” independently developed by Rongsheng Company'. This super shear ram has outstanding shearing capability and can shear any section of the drill string in emergency situations, greatly improving the shearing capacity and reliability of ram BOPs. Following this, Rongsheng Company' successively completed shearing tests on various drill tool joints and drill collars, all of which were successfully sheared in a single attempt.

Rongsheng Company' Wins the “Hebei Provincial Government Quality Award”
On September 22, the Hebei Provincial Government issued the Decision of the People’s Government of Hebei Province on Granting the 2020 Hebei Provincial Government Quality Award. Among the award recipients, Hebei Huabei Petroleum Rongsheng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was honored as one of the 16 enterprises receiving the “2020 Hebei Provincial Government Quality Award for Organizations.” Prior to this, Rongsheng Company' had already won the 2018 Cangzhou Municipal Government Quality Award and the 2017 Renqiu Municipal Government Quality Award.

On August 31, when Rongsheng Company' once again carried out API 16A PR2 EFF validation testing on the ultra-high-pressure ram BOP packing element it had successfully developed three years earlier, this packing element product—after repeated improvement and multiple rounds of optimization—not only successfully passed the international industry-standard temperature validation from -1°C to 177°C, but also set a new domestic record for the highest temperature resistance of a ram BOP packing element by maintaining good performance across all indicators even at 205°C, exceeding the standard limit.

Rongsheng Company' Develops and Manufactures China’s Highest Pressure-Rated Boltless-Bonnet Ram BOP
On August 26, the FZ28-140 (11"-20000psi) boltless-bonnet ram BOP independently developed by Rongsheng Company' successfully passed the user’s on-site acceptance inspection. As the well control product with the highest pressure rating currently available in China, and with a design structure that has been granted a national invention patent, this product features convenient operation and stable performance. The time required for on-site ram replacement has been reduced by more than eight times, earning strong customer favor and high praise.
